Client Overview:

MyBooksJoint is an online bookstore serving students and professionals across the US, offering technical code books (NFPA, ICC), medical textbooks, business titles, and popular novels. It's a wide, oddly specific catalogue, someone shopping for the National Electrical Code and someone shopping for a Harry Potter box set are both landing on the same store, and both need to find what they want fast.

Project Scope

Marketing Rockers designed and built the complete MyBooksJoint website from the ground up. The brief was to organise a genuinely wide book catalogue, technical code books, medical references, comics, business titles, into a store that feels intuitive regardless of which corner of it a visitor is shopping in, with full ecommerce functionality: cart, wishlist, order tracking, and account management.

Challenges Faced

The real challenge was catalogue diversity. A store selling $150 fire-code handbooks and $10 novels side by side needs a structure clear enough that neither audience feels like an afterthought. We also had to build product pages that could carry the extra technical detail (ISBN, edition, format) that code-book and medical-book buyers specifically check before purchasing, without cluttering the simpler novel and comic listings. On top of that, page speed mattered more than usual given how price-sensitive and comparison-driven this audience tends to be.
