Client Overview:

Mohit S. Shah & Co. is a Chartered Accountancy firm offering income tax, GST, audit, accounting, TDS, and corporate compliance services. Like a lot of CA firms, their website had been built years ago on plain HTML, functional in a bare-minimum sense, but not something that reflected the firm or made it easy for them to keep it updated.

Project Scope

The brief was straightforward on paper and layered in practice: move the entire website off static HTML onto a proper PHP structure, and give the firm a blog section they could actually use to publish updates, without needing a developer involved every time. That meant rebuilding every service page from scratch while staying within ICAI's advertising guidelines, something CA firm websites have to work around carefully.

Challenges Faced

Moving off a static HTML site sounds simple until you actually do it, every page, form, and piece of content has to be rebuilt, not just copy-pasted. Adding a WordPress blog on top of a PHP-based main site meant the two had to work together cleanly, without looking like two different websites stitched together. And because it's a CA firm, we couldn't lean on the usual trust-building tools like testimonials or pricing, so the design and content had to earn credibility a different way.
